There are only 150 Psalms in our Bibles. They are an amazing way to connect with God and understand who He is. Psalms are songs and prayers that honor, praise, and lift up our Heavenly Father. Feel encouraged to sit with God in moments of triumph and write a psalm of gratitude and thankfulness. Likewise sit with Him when you are struggling and open your heart so you connect with One who is always in control. You will see both in scripture and God wants your heart in both good times and bad. Worship with your own Psalms in a journal and review throughout your walk to remember when God was always there to meet you.
Psalm 151 (more to follow)
My heart cries out to you Lord
It longs for the eternity you placed within
Your calling I eagerly answer
To your leading I submit
Where I am, your Heavenly Kingdom resides
My soul makes sense of what my heart knows
You anoint me to serve and adopt me as an heir
The spirit of my savior dwells in me, overflowing
Too great and perfect are you to comprehend
I seek your face in righteousness
My faith overcomes the schemes of evil
I choose you as you chose me before time
You speak and my heart hears
You guide and I follow
Lead me for your glory
Cover me in grace when trouble comes
Sanctify me Abba Father
