God is infinite making the ways to describe Him impossible to list. We use human feelings and emotions to try and make sense of the incomprehensible Creator of all. We here God being called good, merciful, truthful, loving and light. Psalm 100:5 For the Lord is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth ensures to all generations. 1 John 4:16 God is love. Most people see the verses above as how God feels, they understand His attributes through emotions. It is important to understand that God’s love, mercy, truth, and goodness are not a choice He makes for you. They are literally Who He Is! God is GOOD. God is MERCY. God is TRUTH. God is LOVE. He does not change because He cannot and will not change what He is. God is above all existence, transcending time and space. He has no reason to change and that consistency is our anchor. The way all of the attributes of God pour out to His chosen is called Grace. There is no way to earn it, no way to gain more of His infinite provision. He only asks that we offer Him our hearts and submit to His perfection. No religious traditions or trying hard gains favor. He is available to us at all times. We just have to accept His guidance and most importantly salvation through His Son, our Lord Jesus. Jesus is the key to our adoption and the presence of the Holy Spirit in us. Don’t think of God as an emotional father you have to earn. Even His anger is not an emotion. It is a justifiable trait of the perfect God who convicts us in love to live with Him now, and for all eternity when the life is complete. Never perform for God, just submit to who He is and seek His face in righteousness. The rest of you life is walking while golding the Perfect Father’s hand. Jeremiah 29:13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for me with all your heart. Matthew 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.
