The Bible is amazing! As you journey with Christ seeking the face of God the living, breathing Word of God grows with you. Reading the same verses at different points in your journey seem to change and become applicable in deeper, more meaningful ways. This acts as proof from the Father that seeking results in finding, and knocking results in Him opening the right doors. Those doors all lead to righteousness. Seeking God first in righteousness makes certain your path is in God’s provision.
This new applications style post for HisGloryBlog makes the truths of the Bible applicable along the way. As the journey progresses the presence of God becomes more evident and if you allow it, more significant. That being said the message of the day is faith. Faith are the things assumed real without proof. We serve a God that takes the obscurity out of the word. It makes faith certain as a tool for spiritual growth. A way to consider faith is to imagine a harness while climbing a tower. As you climb you always have assurance that falling is no longer a hindrance. That fear can be left to the world. As you grow in your relationship with God His truths become more real and deeper, continually. The things that once required faith to believe are now common understanding. They no longer require faith but are now instilled in you as a belief. This is a new place where you can secure the harness and fall no further. Then faith is utilized to continue to grow with God, continue to climb the tower. You need less faith for the simple and more for the complex. The infinite complexity of God means faith will always be our friend, but we can use the growth through faith to help our brothers and sisters climbing with us. We can secure their ropes of faith and help them climb in confidence. Faith is a gift from God. A gift He gives to help His children mature in Him but also a gift to share. Give your heart to God and have faith that the holds it as a prized possession. Have faith that the Father that called you into adoption will show you more of His heart the more of yours you are willing to relinquish. Allow the Holy Spirit in your heart to drive out the flesh left over from sin. Have faith that your journey will result in a breathtaking view from the top of the tower, in the hands of the God that calls you into a faithfilled fulfillment of your purpose.
Galathians 4:4-7
But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons. And because you are sons, God has sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, “Abba! Father!” So you are no longer a slave, but a son, and if a son, then an heir through God.
